As soon as a parent or professional notices a concern there is a well documented path to follow.

How well does the notion of working in partnership and parity between partners hold up?

How well informed are parents at the start of the SEND process?

In some instances we hear of great practice and parents feel involved and valued by the service, be that Health, Education or Social Care.

There is however, a number of cases where parents are fobbed off, belittled or ignored.

We want to open up a meeting and survey on this area to find out more. Once we get a better picture of what is going on we can start to communicate the good and poor practice along with your ideas on how to improve things.

  • Come along to talk about the successes or the failures of identifying SEND.

  • We want to hear all about your experiences in this area.

  • Download a copy of the SEND Code of Practice. This is the ‘Rule Book’
